Hello, everybody! How is it going? The 8th week of 2019 gone by, and all in all, it has been a nice one! ^^

Luckily, my health has been better this week and my head isn’t hurting as much anymore. I started having a runny nose today, though, so I’m still feeling shitty. 😀 I visited the gym only once this week, however, is my nose stops running so much, I’ll go there at least twice next week.

This Wednesday I was attending a training class intended to improve my communication skills, and it was great! The trainer was from Russia and was teaching a bunch of people how to talk about anything and always have something to say. After some regular practicing, I’ll have my speaking skills improved drastically. Let me know if you would like to know any of the exercises he thought me. 😉

This week I also finished listening to Thinking, Fast and Slow by Daniel Kahneman. It was an ok listen. It contains a description of various interesting experiments and fallacies, which should be taken into account when collecting some sort of statistics. In short, the book describes how our mind has 2 different systems – one works quickly and intuitively while the other one is slower and analytic. These systems other work against each other, and knowing this can help you to avoid different thinking traps.
My rating: 4/5

My friend and I have been also continuing the work on our upcoming game – Police Swipe. Our current goal is to release a beta version by the beginning of April. I’ll definitely keep you updated. Here is another sneak peek image from the game. 🙂

As always, I also continued learning Russian and playing piano regularly.
